Planetarium
The Planetarium is located on a small island to the South East of Shatterfall. The building houses a contraption that is powered by moonlight and gives access to various planes. Currently the places gives access to three other areas, with a speculated 24 options being available. It seems that the structure has not seen much use in a long time and is rusty. It might be that this specific device will never fully function and that players will need to find other locations with different Planetaria to access other realms. The table below lists the configurations available, with links to what is know regarding the various places.
Flare is speculating that some of the realms might be linked to some of the deities, with the most obvious (possibly) being the Twins linked to Rayner and Tykus. Check out Pantheon for more information on the gods.

Using the Planetarium[edit | edit source]
The Planetarium can be set to certain positions by pressing the appropriate button on the console on the southern side of the room. When a button is pressed, the various lenses and orbs will shift in place and allow moonlight to shine on the inset Moonglass on the floor, showing the appropriate constellation. As a second step, the appropriate pattern between the lit Moonglass insets needs to be drawn with sand, blood, or some other material. The third step involves putting the five levers in the upright position to activate the machine. NOTE: do NOT pull all five levers down at the same time. You will get shocked by sparks flying around the room. Once this step has been completed, five conjuration/teleportation devices grant access to the associated plane/area. Once someone goes through one portal, it closes. Currently this suggests that only five people are able to visit a plane at a time.
Configurations[edit | edit source]
There are currently three known configurations which can be accessed by pushing the appropriate button. Below you will find images and descriptions of what can be found in these places.
Badger[edit | edit source]
Kassandra owns a coin that shows the pattern required for the Badger Constellation.
Dragon[edit | edit source]
The Dragon constellation linked to a forge that was somehow related to the Plane of Fire. Inside the players encountered a Fire Elemental named Boyle who was stuck here because of "her". It was pounding on brass doors to get to a portal on the other side. After the doors opened, the fire elemental rushed through, but there was no portal anymore. Combat ensued, with Magma Mephits and Fire Snakes pouring forth. In the end, the lesser elementals were dealt with and Boyle could be persuaded to be sent back to his home plane by dying. An Arcane-Tipped Staff was found with the letters R.C.A.D. inscribed on a pedestal in Ignan. There was also a bottle of Mercurial Oil.
Flare owns the slate of stone that shows the pattern required for the Dragon Constellation
Falcon[edit | edit source]
After entering the Falcon area, the players found themselves high up in the air on a small rock with remnants of a temple/access gate. Cloud Carpets that could be commanded to move allowed for access to other floating rocks. Another method of movement was to jump from rock to rock, though this might prove difficult for some due to distances involved and a drop into nothingness below.
In the plane, the players encountered Mephits, small elementals, as well as Motes of Lightning. They seemed to be guarding a Gale Javelin as well as a hidden compartment in a tree. The compartment seemed to be charged with lightning (electricity) and opened after the push of a button. Inside a Potion of Exhausting Speed was found, as well as some small gems. Players did not try to leave the direct area on the Cloud Carpets.
Flare owns a small ring of black enamel that shows the picture of the Falcon Constellation.
Hunter (Archer)[edit | edit source]
Sailing Ship[edit | edit source]
Serpent[edit | edit source]
Whale[edit | edit source]
Visits[edit | edit source]
The first visit to the Planetarium was in search of Moonglass and discovered the first three constellations (Badger, Dragon, Falcon). The players also went into the Falcon constellation.[1] A song about this expedition
The second visit to the Planetarium went through the Badger constellation. [2]
The third visit to the Planetarium went through the Dragon constellation and also unlocked the following four constellations (Archer, Sailing Ship, Serpent, Whale). [3] A song about this expedition
